Giving back

and making a difference

Bell pays it forward to change lives

We care about the communities we serve. Through our unique Pay It Forward tradition, every full-time Bell employee receives $1,000 and every part-time employee $500 every year to give as they choose to individuals, families, organizations and causes we care about.

In 2019, to celebrate our company’s growth and success, the gifts are even greater: every full-time employee receives $2,500 and every part-time employee $1,000 to pay it forward to those in need.

Here are just a few Pay It Forward from Bell’s mortgage team. See more stories when you visit our full Pay It Forward site.

A Van for Jabeus

This Pay It Forward story has become one of Bell’s most watched! Bell Bank Mortgage team members pooled more than $20,000 in funds to help Jabeus, an adult with cerebral palsy, replace his 15-year-old van. Having his own vehicle lets the 30-year-old drive on his own to appointments, work and places to spend time with his friends.

Amy Suek

Banding together to help a former colleague

A mortgage accountant spearheaded efforts to help a former co-worker diagnosed with ovarian cancer. More than 35 Bell team members joined forces to donate more than $32,000 to help Amy cover her medical costs, lost wages and whatever else they needed. And the encouraging video they made was something Amy re-watched during tough times.

Bell Mortgage employees at food truck picnic

Ahwatukee Eats benefits charities and families

It started as an employee appreciation day event that featured 4 food trucks in the Bell Mortgage parking lot and drew more than 200 people. It has grown into a regular food truck picnic sponsored by Bell Bank Mortgage that draws 13 food trucks, 5 to 6 vendors and more than 1,000 customers. Ahwatukee Eats is making a big difference for local organizations and people in need.
